A women led collaboration between The Web & Table For Twenty brought a group of ladies together to feast, drink, and exchange laughs in our first NYC event.
This event was a first of many reasons for us. We decided to hop coasts and head to NYC to team up with The Web (founded by Nora Leisk & Taylor Hurewitz) to create an event bringing female entrepreneurs together through food & drink. It was set at a new swanky restaurant in the East Village called Paper Daisy. Our guests were welcomed with a choice of two handcrafted cocktails to choose from with a 15 minute gracing period to mingle amongst each other before the edibles started to come out. Our twenty seat table was dressed with florals by NYC florist Ahna Hughs from Dear Bynard staggered with fresh fruit and cheese boards. The 2nd course was brought out of Clams & oysters with cucumber dips, followed by an experience of salt baked whole fish. This was a little messy, but that was the fun part. The chef brought the ceramic pan holding the mountain of salt, cracked it to exposed the roasted fish. Dinner was wrapped up with some petite pastries that melted in your mouth. We’ve never been so thrilled to see so many smiling faces leave our dinner. Thank you to all the wonderful women who attended as strangers and left as friends. See you at the next one!
